200 Page ADF

A large capacity ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) is an essential part of any scanning experience. Users simply place up to the allotted document capacity into the ADF in the tray and start the scan job. This allows for an easily managed scan process, and saves users time by eliminating the need to individually feed pages one by one through the scanner.

Double-Feed Skip Key

The Double-Feed Skip Key is a helpful tool which allows you to resume scanning when the device detects a double-fed document. This is especially convenient when scanning documents with sticky notes, taped receipts, envelopes or folders. These items typically trigger the Double-Feed Detection sensor and pause the scanning operation. The Double-Feed Skip Key allows the user to quickly and easily resume the scanning operation by skipping past the double feed detection error with a single touch of a button.

The "Scan Glass Cleaning Brush" directly cleans the scanning glass and prevents the paper dust from settling. Paper Dust Ionizer

The "Paper Dust Ionizer" creates an ion-filled breeze which helps reduce the amount of paper dust clinging to the scan glass surface by neutralizing their electric charge. An ion-filled breeze also flows through the paper path and helps remove paper dust from the scanning glass to reduce the need for the user to clean the glass manually.

Stapled Document Detection

To prevent documents with staples from going through the scanner and damaging the scanning glass, "Stapled Document Detection" uses a sensor to detect various types of stapled documents and immediately stops the scanner when they are detected. This minimizes damage to both the document and the scanning glass, and keeps your scanning glass in excellent condition.

Ultrasonic Double-Feed Sensor

For advanced worry-free scanner operation, an Ultrasonic Double-Feed Sensor is equipped within the scanner to detect items such as sticky notes or smaller documents mixed in amongst regular sized documents. These innovative, high-performance sensors can detect even subtle changes, and immediately pause the scanning operation so that the double-feed document can be recovered. Thanks to these double-feed sensors, optimum scanning reliability is assured even when scanning high volumes of documents.

Superior Roller Mechanisms

With the "Superior Roller Mechanism", paper feed rollers separate from the paper each time a document is fed, so the tendency to double-feed caused by the paper feed roller pressure is reduced, even when feeding papers of different thicknesses. Any paper sliding is detected and the double feed prevention roller pressure is adjusted to prevent the paper from slipping and jamming.

Long Paper Mode

Long Paper Mode allows documents of up to 100 inches in length to be scanned in one single scan job. This feature was designed for scanning electrocardiograms (EKG), well logs, exceptionally long receipts or any other special documents. The highly reliable paper feed system ensures that these documents are scanned straight through as a single scan job.

Thin Paper Scanning

Increasing the capabilities of scanners, "Thin Paper Scanning" allows scanner users to continuously scan documents as thin as 0.00157 inches (0.04mm). This makes it easy to scan thin forms, vouchers and carbon paper, while also increasing the number of situations where you can scan without having to worry about whether your documents will properly scan.

Single-Sided Document Alignment

When placing documents of varied sizes in the ADF tray, "Single-Sided Document Alignment" allows scanner users to align the paper guiderails in whichever way is most comfortable for them. By allowing either right, left or center alignment, this option allows for a smooth scanning experience.

Easy User Maintenance

• Stapled Document Detection: Multiple sensors are used to detect various types of stapled documents, and to immediately stop the scanner when a stapled document is detected. This minimizes damage to both the document and the optical glass
